Pleased Streamwood restaurant treated veterans

My daughter Carol took me out for lunch to Applebee's on Monday, which was Veterans Day. We went to the one on Barrington Road in Streamwood.

It was very crowded and the manager came over to us and said they are treating the veterans to a free lunch.

I think that's great; they deserve the lunch for keeping us safe and fighting for our country.
