Filmmaker to show documentary April 11 at Des Plaines library

Documentary filmmaker Jon Siskel screens his award-winning film "Louder Than A Bomb" at the Des Plaines Public Library at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 11.

"Louder Than a Bomb" follows four Chicago area high school poetry teams as they prepare for and compete in the world's largest youth slam. The film has won 17 festival prizes, including 10 audience awards. Siskel, along with film cast members, will be on hand to answer audience questions after the film.
