Glenbard North’s Fecho throws a perfect game

Glenbard North’s Lilly Fecho (6-0) threw a perfect game, striking out 10, and homered twice as the No. 8 Panthers beat Oak Park 10-0 in five innings in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday in Carol Stream. Alex Caliva and Heather Sperlazzo also went deep for Glenbard North. The Panthers (10-0) swept, taking Game 2 5-3. Sydney Benz belted a 2-run homer in that game.

Downers Grove North 7-7, Prospect 0-0:

Elaine Heflin (5-0) threw a perfect game, striking out 14, for the No. 7 Trojans (9-0) in the first game of a doubleheader in Downers Grove. In Game 2 Trojans sophomore Dale Ryndak (4-0) was perfect into the fifth inning, striking out 13 in a two-hitter.

Glenbard South 5, Neuqua Valley 4:

The No. 9 Raiders (7-1) scored 4 runs in the top of the seventh and held on in Naperville as Neuqua Valley (5-3) scored twice before having a runner doubled off on a line drive.
