Children can learn safety tips at Safety Park this summer

Spend summer learning helpful safety tips from the Schaumburg Park District.

Sundays at Safety Park will take place from 1 to 3 p.m., May 20, June 24, July 29 and Aug. 19 at Ken Alley Safety Park, 421 N. Springinsguth Road.

Safety Park was developed to teach safety awareness to children. Participants ages 3 to 7 will be able to drive, peddle and ride around Safety Park on the 18-passenger trackless train, big wheels and electric jeeps. There also will be safety-related activities available including movies and crafts in the party room.

All children must follow the safety rules. Helmets and gym shoes must be worn while riding big wheels and jeeps. Children must be accompanied by a parent.

Admission to each program date is $10. Each additional child is $5.
