Bloomingdale man faces child porn charges
A months-long investigation led to child pornography charges against a 48-year-old Bloomingdale man, police said Monday.
Pavel V. Logvin of the 400 block of Vinings Drive was charged Friday with four counts of aggravated child pornography.
Logvin’s arrest was the result of a joint investigation launched in January by the Bloomingdale and Glendale Heights police departments in conjunction with the Illinois Attorney General’s High-Tech Crimes Bureau.
Police said Logvin possessed pornographic photos and videos of children younger than 13, including some who were “bound or subject to sadistic abuse,” according to court records.
If convicted of aggravated child pornography, Logvin could receive probation or up to seven years in prison for each count.
He remained in DuPage County jail Monday on $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear next month before Judge Robert Kleeman.
