Hanover Township Mental Health Board awards funding at April meeting
The Hanover Township Mental Health Board awarded $16,000 in Challenge Funding to Northeast DuPage Family & Youth Services during their April 26 meeting.
The funding supports the agency's pilot placement of a social worker at the Bartlett Police Department to serve the community through counseling services, crisis assessment and identifying community resources to residents experiencing domestic violence.
Challenge funding is available to all non-profit service organizations launching pilot programs that serve Township residents. In FY22, the board approved $58,900 in Challenge Funding.
The next meeting of the Mental Health Board will take place on May 24 at 6:30PM at the Senior Center (240 S. IL Route 59, Bartlett).
Hanover Township serves over 105,000 residents in portions of the Cook County communities of Streamwood, Elgin, Bartlett, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg.
