Images: Photo Contest Finalists

This picture was taken while vacationing in Colorado at the Ice Castles in Silverthorne, near Breckinridge. The ice formations are man-made formed by fusing icicles together to create a lattice of icicles upon which water is sprayed resulting in the magnificent “ice castles.” I particularly like this picture because the person in the foreground (my friend, Paula) lends perspective to the actual height of the formation.
