Mundelein High hands out Mustang awards

Six Mundelein High School students were honored with Mustang Pride awards presented at a breakfast held in their honor recently in the Mundelein Room at the high school. Principal Lauren Fagel hosted the event for the honorees and their families.

Cord Shellenberger was nominated by Alexander Kapotas and Martha Ambrey for Academic Persistence, Academic Improvement, Service to Others/Leadership, and Integrity/Unsolicited Good Deeds.

Daniel Balogh was nominated by Dave Whitson for Service to Others and Unsolicited Good Deeds. Henry “Mac” Holmes was nominated by Jaime Thatcher for Unsolicited Good Deeds. Amanda Goodwin and Brandon Hodgen were nominated for Academic Persistence and Academic Improvement by Pete Nadler, Jim Drier and Hope Platis.

Michelle Ramirez was nominated by Heather Ryan for Academic Persistence, Unsolicited Good Deeds and Service to Others.

Mustang Pride awards are presented each month to students who exemplify first class behavior in a number of possible categories. They are nominated for the awards by members of the MHS staff.
