1½ cups water

1 tablespoon butter

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground turmeric

¾ cup long-grain rice

Bring water, butter, salt and turmeric to a boil over high heat in a medium saucepan with a lid. Add rice; reduce heat to low. Cover and steam for 20 minutes.
