Pubilc Invited to Unveiling of New Mural at Stevenson

A public reception to celebrate the unveiling of Stevenson High School's newest mural will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 26 in the Information and Learning Center. The mural's creator, Doug Smithenry, will be on hand. He was selected to create the mural through an artist-in-residency project sponsored by the Patriot Parent Association and the Stevenson High School Foundation.

Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to Karen Kiefer at 847-415-4570 or kkiefer@d125.org no later than Friday, April 20.

For the event, visitors should park in lot B and enter through the Forum, or "Point," entrance of the West Building. The Information and Learning Center (Room 2300) is located on the second floor, near the Assistant Principal's Office.

The public reception is sponsored by the SHS Fine Arts Division.
