Crystal Lake spa worker again charged with prostitution

An employee at Spring Spa in Crystal Lake has again been charged with prostitution after a recent undercover operation by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

Shufang Lu, 49, of Chicago, was arrested Tuesday and charged with prostitution, unlawful practice of massage therapy and violation of bail bond.

Another employee, Jing Hua, 50, was charged with unlawful practice of massage therapy.

Lu faced similar charges last month.
