Second-half surge lifts West Chicago

West Chicago 6, Elgin 1: West Chicago (1-1-0) scored 4 unanswered second-half goals to break open the nonconference game. Andie Lazzerini, Katie Becker, Bianca Navejas and Cassie Thill all scored to bolster a 2-1 Wildcats halftime lead. Meagan Radloff scored twice in the first half in support of keeper Kelsey Meyers. West Chicago forced Maroons keeper Jessica Bahena to make 22 saves.

Naperville North 4, Plainfield Central 0: Zoe Swift scored 2 goals and Rycke Guiney scored a goal and had 2 assists in the Huskies' nonconference shutout. Christa Szalach also tallied for Naperville North.

Lisle 4, Immaculate Conception 4: No overtime in this nonconference game in Elmhurst, which featured Nicole Urban scoring all 4 goals for Lisle (1-0-1). Emily DeLong and Skyler Tomko each picked up 2 assists for the Lions, who got 9 saves from keeper Vanessa Roach. IC (0-0-1) got 2 goals from Colleen Manion and 1 each from Natalie D'Agostino and Angela Poritta. Kelly Mulligan made 11 stops for the Knights.
