Register for dance classes in Des Plaines

The Des Plaines School of Dance hosted an open house and day of free dance classes on Saturday, Sept. 7, in the Dance Studio at the Leisure Center, 2222 Birch St.

Dancers, ages 3 to adult, sampled classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and modern.

“We offer a well-rounded dance program with over 50 classes taught by industry professionals,” said Nancy Suwalski, cultural arts supervisor for the Des Plaines Park District. “We have classes for preschool dancers, recital classes and nonperformance classes — truly something for everyone.”
