Compete in the Schaumburg Park District's Halloween House Decorating Contest

Transform your home into a Halloween haunt and showcase it in Schaumburg Park District’s annual Halloween House Decorating Contest.

The first 10 houses entered will be judged. Houses will be judged on originality, arrangement, theme and overall design. Judging will take place the evening of Oct. 28 during the Halloween House Decorating Tour. Winning entrants will be listed on the Schaumburg Park District cable channel, featured on parkfun.com, and receive a Park District gift card and yard sign.

Houses must be within Schaumburg Park District boundaries and decorated before Oct. 28.

Entry forms are available on parkfun.com and in the District’s fall program guide. Forms are due by 9 p.m., Oct. 25 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.
