Musically talented? Audition for Schaumburg Park District's summer musical

Show off your talent and get cast in Schaumburg Park District's big summer musical.

The District will hold auditions for its upcoming summer production on May 20 and 21 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. Multiple audition times are available between 1 and 3:15 p.m., May 20, and 5 and 6:30 p.m., May 21.

Parts are available for ages 7 to adult. Auditioning actors must bring a non-returnable headshot (or school photo) marked with their name, age, address and phone number. Actors must prepare a short acapella song for the audition. There is a $70 fee if cast in the production. Additional costume fee may be charged.

Actors must register for a time slot to audition. Registration is accepted at Schaumburg Park District facilities and parkfun.com. Actors unable to audition during scheduled times must contact the cultural arts supervisor at (847) 490-7015.

The summer musical will be performed July 20 to 22 at the Community Recreation Center.
