Buffalo Grovebull; The Buffalo Grove Police Department conducts periodic checks of businesses that are licensed to sell alcoholic beverages. Investigators send an underage agent into the business without any identification on him. The agent is to attempt to purchase alcohol and if the agent is refused, he simply leaves. On Thursday, May 13, police checked 13 establishments and all refused to sell to the agent.bull; Thieves broke the passenger-side window and removed a radar detector from the windshield of a vehicle parked in a lot at 1051 Commerce Court between 1-3:30 p.m. May 19.Des Plainesbull; Robbie G. Miller Jr., 22, of the 3400 block of North Pacific Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 12:40 a.m. May 19 on the 2500 block of East Touhy Avenue after a traffic stop and charged with local ordinance possession of marijuana. His court date is July 2.bull; Heriberto M. Ultreras, 19, of the 9100 block of Grand Avenue, Franklin Park, was arrested around 5:30 p.m. May 17 on the 1800 block of South River Road and charged with possession of marijuana and traffic violations. His court date is June 10.bull; Vandals kicked in doors, broke windows and scratched graffiti into cabinet doors and an electrical box at a townhouse complex under construction on the 700 block of Sanborn Street between 5 p.m. May 14 and 7 a.m. May 17. Damage was estimated at $2,050.bull; Vandals hurled a brick through the rear window on a 2000 Mack tractor truck and broke a few bricks near a trash bin at Illinois Brick Co., 821 Seegers Road, between 12:30 p.m. May 16 and 6:30 a.m. May 17. His court date is June 9.bull; Damian Ratulowski, 25, of the 1700 block of 75th Court, Elmwood Park, and John P. Stopierzynski, 24, of the 6900 block of West Wellington, Chicago, were arrested around 12:30 a.m. May 11 on the 300 block of Kent Avenue. Ratulowski was charged with possession of a controlled substance; Stopierzynski was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Their court date is May 25.bull; Daniel W. Anderson, 26, of the 400 block of Perrie Drive, Elk Grove Village, was arrested around 8 p.m. May 6 on Landmeier Road at Perrie Drive and charged with four counts of violation of bail bond. His court date is May 24.bull; Burglars broke into a 2008 Toyota hatchback on the 700 block of Perrie Drive between 11 p.m. May 9 and 6:49 a.m. May 10 and stole an oil pressure gauge, control gauge, computer engine management system, charger, pipe and stick shift handle. Loss was estimated at $2,560.bull; Burglars stole a set of golf clubs valued at $800 out of an unlocked 2007 Jeep Wagoneer on the 100 block of Willow Lane between 11:30 p.m. May 8 and 10 a.m. May 9.bull; Burglars broke a door window and ransacked the bar area in a business at 333 Plum Grove Road around 11 p.m. May 8. Damage was estimated at $500.bull; Thieves stole all tires and rims from a 2000 Cadillac Deville belonging to JMA Consultants America Inc. and parked in the company's lot at 25 Northwest Point Blvd. between 2 p.m. May 10 and 7 a.m. May 11. Value was estimated at $3,729.Mount Prospectbull; Burglars broke into a 2007 Acura sedan on the 1900 block of Seneca between 1 and 6 a.m. May 7 and stole a portable GPS and computer module. Loss was estimated at $1,000.bull; Burglars stole an iPod, stereo amplifier, and two subwoofer speakers out of a 1998 Ford Expedition in an apartment lot on the 500 block of Huntington Commons Road between 10 p.m. May 8 and 11 a.m. May 9. Value was estimated at $2,000.bull; A man stole a snowblower valued at $500 out of an open garage on the 900 block of Barberry Lane around 5 p.m. May 8. He had placed the snowblower behind the back fence and had returned to the garage when the victim's son drove up. He chased the thief, who jumped over the fence and ran away. An officer found the snowblower behind the fence.Rolling Meadowsbull; Thieves ransacked the bedroom of a condo in the 5200 block of Carriageway Drive when the owner was forced to vacate after a fire in the building. Ratliff, 20, of the 200 block of Willow Road, Streamwood, was arrested around 7:30 p.m. May 6 outside a liquor store at 5030 Valley Lane and charged with street gang contact/probation violation. Reports said an officer saw him making gang hand signs to passing motorists. His court date is June 10.bull; Thieves stole a cell phone from a female student at Streamwood High School, 701 W.
