Patriots 12U travel softball takes 2nd place at Storm Summer Classic

The 12U Patriots travel softball team, comprised of girls from Arlington Heights, Wheeling, and the Palatine areas, traveled to Holland, Mich. July 27-29 to participate in the Lakeshore Storm Summer Classic softball tournament.

The girls fought hard all weekend, and overcame some close games and sunny/hot weather go with a 2-1 record in pool play, and then winning their first 3 bracket games to make it to the Championship game on Sunday.

Though they played hard in the Championship game, they lost 7-3 to the Lakeshore Storm Blue team.
