Dining events: Superdawg celebrates 65 years
65 years young
It's been 65 years since Superdawg first opened its doors. They're commemorating the event with a souvenir cup decorated circa the 1940s filled with an ice cold beverage for $3.25 or purchase a patch for $5. Superdawg is known for just that — its Superdawgs — an oversized, all-choice beef hot dog served with mustard, relish and pickles plus a side of hand-cut fries for $5.50. Or its whoopercheesie, a half-pound burger made with two hamburger patties, plus cheese and a side of fries for $7.75.
Superdawg Drive-in is located at 333 S. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling. (847) 459-1900 or superdawg.com.
