Renegades High hockey team takes championship at Louisville, Ky. tournament

The Renegades High School varsity hockey team recently traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, to compete in the Weathermen Big Bear Hockey Tournament.

They won the championship on Oct. 15, 2023, with a 4-1 victory over the Atlanta Mad Hatters.

The team is composed of students from Montini Catholic High School, Addison Trail High School, Fenton High School, Willowbrook High School, and Wheaton-Warrenville South High School.

The head coach is Matt Benton and goalie coach is Joey Simoncelli.
