He gave the arresting officer a false name; the officer found heroin, three drug pipes and syringes in the car, reports said. Euclid Ave., around 7:30 p.m. May 16, but the man walked into the police station, 112 E. Northwest Hwy., later and returned the money. They were banned from the restaurant but were not charged.bull; A man carrying a clipboard entered a home on the 100 block of North Horner Lane around 12:40 p.m. May 20 while the 79-year-old male homeowner was working in the front yard and his 77-year-old wife was in the downstairs den. She walked up the stairs and was startled to see him in the kitchen. He told her he was upstairs checking a light switch for her husband. He walked out the back door and, when her husband confronted him, the offender said he was just talking to his wife about lawn service. The man was described as a black male, 30-35 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, 200 pounds, and wearing a black or tan baseball cap, dark wind breaker and slacks. He drove away in a newer black and tan SUV or pickup truck with a cap. Nothing appeared to be missing.bull; Burglars stole cash and checks in a bank pouch, GPS unit, small laptop computer, and portable CD-ROM out of a 2003 Chevrolet Astro van in a driveway on the 2000 block of Wintergreen Avenue between 1 p.m. May 14 and 9 a.m. May 16.
