Tiny Tots gives youngsters summer camp experience

If you think your child is too young for summer camp fun, think again. It's summertime; time to go outside, explore, be active and make new friends.

Cary Park District's Tiny Tots summer camp program offers children ages 2 and 3 an opportunity to do all of that and so much more.

Tiny Tots Camp is perfect for children who want a camp experience but are too young for Sunshine Camp. This three-day camp offers two hours of hands-on games, crafts and activities that will fill your child's morning with fun.

Young campers gain independence and develop important social and motor skills in a safe and encouraging indoor environment.

The camp will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, at the Community Center, 255 Briargate Road, Cary. Session one is May 29-31. Session two is July 31-Aug. 2, and session three, Aug. 7-9.

Children must be age 2 by the first day of camp. Cost is $45 for residents and $68 for nonresidents per session. Registration is available online at www.carypark.com or in person at the Community Center. For more information on this program, call Cary Park District at (847) 639-6100.
