Island Lake Lions Club holds 58th annual Cornfest Aug. 21

Ths Island Lake Lions Club will host its 58th annual Cornfest Sunday, Aug. 21, at Water Tower Park.

The festival will run from noon to 6 p.m. and the main attraction is free sweet corn. Other food and refreshments (including beer) will be available for purchase.

Other features include kids games, a hole-in-one golf contest, hourly 50/50 raffles, a television raffle and live entertainment.

Music will be provided by Wildwood Drive, Bling Spot and Bayview Beach Blues Band.

Admission to the Cornfest is free.

Water Tower Park is at 439 W. State Road, Island Lake.
