Daily lane closures on Route 176 in Island Lake, Wauconda

Daily lane and shoulder closures will occur this week on Route 176 between Roberts and Lark roads in Island Lake and Wauconda, weather permitting.

The project consists of resurfacing, pavement patching and sidewalk improvements, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. The overall project is expected to be completed this winter.

Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area.
