On October 15th, the Rotary Club of Long Grove, Kildeer and Hawthorn Woods sponsored and prepared the Sunday evening community dinner at Emmaus House in Lake Zurich. The dinner is held weekly in the lower level of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

Numerous other volunteers from the local community also help out with the event each week. A picnic themed menu was provided including fried chicken, along with assorted salads, bread/rolls, vegetables, deserts and beverages. Approximately 120 guests attended the event.
