Glenview resident Sara Kearney accepts executive position at Northbrook-based KemperSports

Northbrook-based KemperSports is pleased to welcome hospitality industry veteran Sara Kearney as vice president of hospitality and strategic initiatives. In her new role, she will help expand KemperSports' relationship with Streamsong Resort to assume management of all resort operations for the award-winning, Central Florida destination. Sara also will support the company's other destination lodging properties and work with executive leadership on strategic marketing and growth initiatives.

"The hospitality, hotel management, leadership and marketing expertise that Sara brings to KemperSports is second-to-none," said Steve Skinner, CEO of KemperSports. "We are anxious to put her vast industry knowledge to work to help us improve the guest experience at our resort and destination properties, in addition to helping us grow that portfolio."

Sara brings 25 years of experience in hospitality and hotel management, most recently in several global marketing and operating positions for Hyatt and as the general manager of Park Hyatt Chicago, overseeing all aspects of the hotel operations, marketing, sales, recruitment, team development and retention. A Chicago native, Sara lives with her family in Glenview.
