Wauconda Lions fundraiser Nov. 5

The Wauconda Lions Club will host their 34th annual Calcutta fundraiser on Nov. 5, at the Lakemoor banquet hall, Route 120 and Darrell Road, Lakemoor.

The club was chartered in Wauconda in 1941 and provides support to those suffering from hearing and sight disabilities, as well as for other community events and needs. Funds raised will be invested into the community and provide assistance to those most in need.

The Calcutta includes a reverse raffle, silent auction, prime rib buffet dinner, entertainment, and more. A $150 donation includes dinner for two.
