League of Women Voters hosts candidates forum

The League of Women Voters of Roselle/Bloomingdale will sponsor a candidates forum at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, in the East Campus auditorium of Lake Park High School, 600 S. Medinah Road, Roselle.

The event is an opportunity for voters to meet, ask questions and learn more about the credentials and platforms of the candidates. Doors will open at 1 p.m. for a "meet and greet," followed by the moderated candidates' forum with questions submitted by the audience and the League. The forum is free and open to the public.

The League also will sponsor a candidates meet and greet from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 8000 Miles Restaurant, 107 Main St., Roselle. Candidates running for the 18th Judicial Circuit and the 45th House District have been invited to attend.
