Streamwood Knights of Columbus Holding Mercy Home for Boys & Girls March for Kids

Your support of Mercy Home is more critical than ever before!

Each year, more and more children need care outside of their own homes simply to survive. Many no longer have a place that they can call home. At the same time, funding for not-for-profits that provide children in need with a safe place to live is decreasing. That is why we need your help today.

Throughout the month of March, Mary's Millennium Knights of Columbus Council #12801 will be collecting donations to help Mercy Home for Boys & Girls give at-risk children a safe place to live, therapy to heal from the trauma of abuse and neglect, and tools like education and job skills, to help them build independence.

Clad in the signature green aprons, Knights will be collecting donations to Mercy Home and handing out Mercy Home Shamrocks as a way of saying 'thank you' after all the masses at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Streamwood March 13-14.

Donations can be delivered to the Parish Office, 502 S. Park Blvd., Streamwood, IL 60107 (cash or check payable to Knights of Columbus Council #12801) or you can use our secure online donation site https://kofc12801.square.site/mercy-home using a credit card or Google Pay.

Since 1887, Mercy Home has helped tens of thousands of young people in Chicago recover from the trauma of abuse and neglect, so they can experience brighter futures. Be part of our children's success by making a generous gift today. Thank you! For more information about their mission, see their website https://www.mercyhome.org/.

We call upon all Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are not currently members, to prayerfully consider becoming a member of our Council today. In honor of the Beatification of our founder, the first year's membership dues (a $30 savings) is being waived.

This is an extremely exciting time to join the Knights of Columbus. Visit https://kofc.org/joinus and use Promo Code MCGIVNEY2020 (mention 12801 as the preferred council). Take advantage of this limited time promotion which runs through June 30, 2021.
