Cadet Club offers free Bike Tune-Up Day

On Saturday, April 27, the Cadet Club for boys in first to eighth grade hosted a Free Bike Tune-Up day for the community at Wheaton Christian Reformed Church.

This tuneup day was similar to the one the Cadets hosted last year, with the key distinction that this year's event was held in a snowstorm!

Despite the adverse conditions, the boys persisted and tuned up 70 bikes, putting them through stations that included chain degreasing, washing, tire inflation, and a checkup by a bike mechanic.

The bike owners were invited to enjoy coffee and cookies in the comfort of the church building while their bikes were moving through the stations.
