I saw a flock of birds moving around in a small tree at the Morton Arboretum. Turns out they were hungry Cedar Waxwings. Cedar Waxwings are one of the most beautiful birds, not a feather out of place.

I visited the Morton Arboretum's Spruce Plot because I knew the tall, straight trees would be interesting to photograph in the fog. A jogger added some scale and a human touch in the otherwise mysterious landscape.
