Great communicator for McHenry board

I am supporting Yvonne Barnes for McHenry County Board, Dist. 1. I first got to know her as a fellow village board member in Cary back in 1999. We were on opposite sides of many issues, but she was such a great communicator that, even though at odds, we became good friends.

Our friendship has continued and I have seen her accomplish so much good for the people of McHenry County. She now serves as Vice Chairperson, having been unanimously voted into this position by her fellow board members.

Yvonne's experience includes these committees: Law & Justice as Chair, Finance & Audit, Management Services, Legislative, Natural & Environmental Resources, Community Development Grant Commission, Human Resources, to name a few.
