Village of Arlington Heights Senior Center Arlington Heights Arts Guild Artist Reception and Show

The Arlington Heights Senior Center is proud to host the Arlington Heights Arts Guild artist reception Wednesday, June 7, from 6:30 pm to 8 pm in the lobby. The public is invited to attend. The Arlington Heights Arts Guild has over 40 artwork pieces to display in the lobby through June 30. The Arlington Heights Senior Center also showcases Art Guild artists' work throughout the year through their rotating gallery program.

"We are excited to welcome so many talented artists to show their creativity in our lobby," said Senior Center Manager Tracey Colagrossi. "The Arlington Heights Arts Guild is a wonderful community partner dedicated to helping people create and grow, much like the Senior Center. We hope everyone can see this work."

Founded over 40 years ago, the Arlington Heights Art Guild today has nearly 80 members who meet to learn and share their interests in various art forms. The Guild also supports the community by sponsoring local exhibits and awarding scholarships to local art students. The organization draws from various surrounding communities and the Arlington Heights base.

The Arlington Heights Senior Center is one of six accredited senior centers in the state through the National Council on Aging Owned and operated by the Village of Arlington Heights, the Arlington Heights Senior Center is a welcoming and accessible environment dedicated to independence, community, and lifelong learning. Eight agencies collaborate to provide those aged 50 and better programs, services, amenities, and information to live and age well.
