Northwest Community Hospital gains approval for $175M cancer and neurological care center
Endeavor Health Northwest Community Hospital hopes to move forward with plans to build a new $175 million cancer and neuroscience center after a state board approved the project earlier this week. The three-story, 104,000-square-foot facility would consolidate the Arlington Heights hospital’s outpatient cancer and neurological care. The building would be connected to the main hospital via a bridge.
Mount Prospect kneading massage parlor regulations
Mount Prospect is putting a six-month pause on new business licenses for massage parlors. During the moratorium, the village will study ways to strengthen licensing requirements, operational standards, inspection authority, and enforcement tools, as well as re-evaluate applicable zoning regulations.
A proposed indoor youth and high school sports performance training facility received the enthusiastic support of Lake Zurich village officials. Planned for a vacant 5.5-acre site on Rose Road in the Lake Zurich Industrial Park, the Tactic Performance Center would span 55,000 square feet or more.
