Lisle Heritage Society hosts annual 4th of July ice cream social

Once again the Lisle Heritage Society is hosting its annual Fourth of July Ice Cream Social.

Relax in the beauty of the Museums at Lisle Station Park campus, listen to a rousing and patriotic performance by Lisle Community Band, and enjoy complimentary ice cream (while supplies last). The Lisle Park District and Lisle Knights of Columbus St. Joan of Arc Council 15168 support this event.

Hot dogs and cold drinks will be available for a nominal charge. The event starts at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, following the 10 a.m. parade.

The parade route will begin at Lisle Junior High School, proceed west on Jonquil Avenue, north on Main Street, east on Burlington Avenue, and ending at Lisle Village Hall. The parade is hosted by the village, Lisle Park District, Ross Bishop VFW Post 5696, Lisle Police Department, Lisle-Woodridge Fire Protection District, Lisle Chamber of Commerce, and Lisle Library District
