CCSD21 middle schoolers to travel to state capitol on May 10 for Student Advocacy Day

Staff and students at Holmes and London Middle Schools in Community Consolidated School District 21 are set to travel to Springfield this Wednesday, May 10, for Student Advocacy Day at the Illinois state capitol.

Holmes students will present on their student media club, while London students will present on HomeStories, a project that began in Chicago and helps people around the world get to know one another by asking them to talk about where they feel most at home. HomeStories is used at London to get to know students new to the United States and help them feel rooted in their new community.
