Police: Child found unresponsive Friday in pool of Glenview hotel

A 4-year-old boy who was found unresponsive in a hotel swimming pool in Glenview Friday night is in serious condition at the hospital, according to a news release from the Glenview Police Department.

Police said they responded to a call at 9:25 p.m. from a hotel on the 1000 block of Milwaukee Avenue for a 4-year-old boy who had been found unresponsive in the pool. The Glenview Fire Department transported the child to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where he remains in serious condition as of Saturday morning.

Glenview Police are investigating and will provide further updates when available, according to the news release.
