Road work to begin next week on Route 12/59

Route 12/Illinois 59 between Sullivan Lake Road and Molidor Road in Volo will be reduced to one lane when workers are present for intersection improvements and the installation of new traffic signals, beginning, weather permitting, Monday, Aug. 24.

In order to complete the work, traffic lanes will be reduced during the daytime hours at the intersections with Sullivan Lake Road and Molidor Road. Traffic lanes also will be reduced to one lane in each direction, with flaggers, on Sullivan Lake Road and Molidor Road while workers are present.
