The third of five men accused of luring a juvenile victim to a spot near Wheaton and then beating him and taking his wallet was sentenced to probation Thursday.

Judge George Bakalis sentenced Nathaniel Rodriguez, 19, of Addison to 30 months probation but also gave Rodriguez a stern warning. Rodriguez previously pleaded guilty to robbery.

"If you violate this probation, I will immediately sentence you to four years in the penitentiary," Bakalis warned.

Prosecutors said Rodriguez, along with two other adults and two juveniles, called the victim around midnight on Sept. 21, 2014. They told the victim their car was broken down near his home and asked him to bring some money.
