Believe Project: $100 to pay bills for music teacher with cancer

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Lee Wood of Arlington Heights.

Here is an excerpt of Wood's story:

"Robin Meredith-Kramer … shared her awesome gift of music (piano) and inspired those at her church and students to give their best. She has been unable to work because she has to endure a second round of chemotherapy for cancer.

"Being self-employed, she has no income and her household and medical bills are piling up. Her husband also has serious medical issues. The significance of this gift would give her spirits a lift."

• The Believe Project is awarding $100 each day in December to a different person with a good idea for how to use the money to do a good deed for someone else. Submit your idea in 150 words or fewer at events.dailyherald.com/believe- project.
