Classy captains of Fox Valley All-Area girls volleyball team

Streamwood senior Katie Post and Burlington Central junior Molly Turk met at a High Performance Volleyball Camp at Loyola University in 2004.

"I remember Molly, like all the girls at that camp, because she was so much better than me," Post joked.

Each girl played three sports as freshmen at their respective schools, but both made the hard decision to give up two of those sports to concentrate solely on volleyball. Their decisions paid off in the form of Division-I college scholarships.

Turk has one more year of high school remaining before she moves on to Northern Iowa University.

Post committed last spring to Ohio University, currently ranked No. 15 in the country in the lastest CSTV/USVA poll.

Ironically, they were nearly reunited at Ohio University, Turk's second college choice.
