Freshman Claire Jakubicek scored 16 points off the bench for the Trojans. Tori Sandstrom and Jamie Kuhl added 15 and 10 points, respectively.

Taking advantage of their pressure defense, the Trojans steadily pulled away. In one sequence late in the second quarter, Smith scored on a nice scoop shot, then, on back-to-back possessions, made halfcourt steals and drove in for layups.
The Trojans' defense forced 41 turnovers while holding Streamwood to 34 percent shooting.
"We hung with them for about four minutes," said Streamwood coach George Rosner. "I thought it was going OK, then it was over."
Melissa Oehlerking added 7 points and Kim Hotovy 6 for Streamwood.
"No matter how good you are, you shouldn't lose to somebody by 40 points," said Rosner. "There's no excuse for that. There was really no bright spot in what we put out there today."
