Fashion show, tea to aid hospice unit
Hospice of Northeastern Illinois will host its first tea and fashion show in Woodstock to benefit the new in-patient hospice unit in Centegra Memorial Medical Center South Street.
This parade of fall and winter fashions is a continuation of HNI's 25th anniversary celebration in McHenry County.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Woodstock Opera House, on the Square in Woodstock.
Tickets are $38 each, and include teas, coffees and hors d'oeuvres. The fashion show will include a wide range of fashions and accessories from the McHenry County area, and special music selections by Don Beyer.
Tickets can be purchased through the Woodstock Opera House at (815) 338.5300 or Web site www.woodstock operahouse.com.
"The level of support from the area businesses is outstanding," said Beth Raseman, Hospice of Northeastern Illinois' vice president of development.
"We have Pirro's Restaurante donating a portion of the food, and wonderful fashions and accessories from several stores, including English Rose and The Closet Boutique."
"This is sure to be a wonderful show," added Jo Williams, HNI's special event coordinator.
