'Art in the Garden' to benefit rehab center

The Adult & Child Rehab Center's "Artwork on Display" 2008 calendar, featuring artwork from center patients, will be available at Countryside Flower Shop, Nursery & Garden Center's "Art in the Garden" event. Prints of the artwork and note cards also will be for sale.

"Art in the Garden" will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and will feature works from a variety of local artists. Art in the Garden will be held at Countryside, 5301 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake., regardless of weather conditions.

Countryside is donating half of the booth fee charged to each artist to the Adult & Child Rehab Center. The center is a non-profit organization that has been providing therapy and nursing services to the residents of McHenry County since 1949.
