Glen Ellyn Golden Eagles 90-pound White: The Golden Eagles won their seventh game of the season Oct. 20, beating the Wheaton Rams Green 20-0 in Bill George Youth Football League action.

Sean Mackey scored 2 touchdowns, Mike Reilley had a touchdown and the Glen Ellyn defense recorded its fourth shutout of the season.

Among the defensive highlights were tackles by Ethan Speich, Dylan Moon and Ben Buchnat. Riley Green, Matt Hanson and Patrick Mudge forced fumbles, and Tommy Schneider recovered one.

The Golden Eagles defeated West Chicago 21-7 the week before.

Glen Ellyn started quickly, as Mackey returned the opening kick off for a touchdown. Reilley added a touchdown in the second quarter and Mackey had a score in the fourth quarter.

Defensively, the Golden Eagles had sacks by Moon, Hanson and Reiley. Green had a tackle for loss at the end of the game.

The Golden Eagles also stopped West Chicago at the goal line, once on a tackle by Jake Mueller and another time with a fumble caused by Jeremy Goyak.
