• Thieves stole a sale sign around 11 a.m. Aug. 23 on the 200 block of Route 176, police said. A value estimate was not available.
Lake Zurich
• Thieves stole video camera/surveillance equipment between Aug. 26-28 out of the west side of the vacant former Kmart building, 225 S. Rand Road, police said. Value was estimated at $500.
Lincolnshire
• Adam J. Piazza, 28, 1507 Frank Ave., Deerfield, was arrested around 1:30 p.m. Aug. 28 and charged with unlawful use of a debit card, a class 4 felony. Police say the card was used to purchase items from a business on Milwaukee Avenue in Lincolnshire. A court date is pending.
• Robert Lee Thomas, 47, 632 Sheridan Road, Highwood, was arrested around 11:53 a.m. Aug. 29 and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructed windows. He was arrested after police stopped a vehicle on Aptakisic Road and Bond Street. His court date is Oct. 5 in Waukegan.
Mundelein
• Richard E. Cameron Jr., 44, 327 S. Lincoln Ave., Mundelein, and Nancy Frane, 44, 1353 W. Maple Ave., Mundelein, were arrested around 1:45 a.m. Aug. 20 after an officer stopped their car for a traffic violation on Route 45 at Hawley Street, police said. Cameron was charged with driving under the influence, and Frane was charged with obstructing and resisting a peace officer after she interfered with Cameron's arrest, reports added. Their Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 17.

• Vandals wrote graffiti Sept. 3 behind a business at 600 W. Liberty St., police said. A damage estimate was not available.
