Karin Stein from Colombia and Edgar East from Panama will feature diverse musical styles and instruments from many different regions.

Sept. 25: Mexica/Aztecs presentation, by Michael Heraldo 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room B166-168 at MCC.

Michael Heraldo will lead a presentation that will feature the world of Mexica/Aztecs, including ancient poetry, narratives, oral tradition stories, and ballads. Participants will also learn about the history, philosophy, language, and culture of the Mexica/Aztecs from the indigenous perspective.

Oct. 15: Influential Latina Women Workshop, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Room A117 at MCC. This workshop will highlight influential Latina women from past to present in an open discussion format.

A brief discussion and refreshments will follow the movie.
