Meals-on-Wheels drivers needed

The Kenneth Young Center in Elk Grove Village needs Meals-on-Wheels drivers in Elk Grove and Schaumburg Townships. Drivers are needed every other week. Farmers market has a French flair

The Mount Prospect Sister Cities Commission will host its "French Market" from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14, in the Metra Commuter Parking Lot, Northwest Highway and Route 83. The market features Retro Bistro sidewalk cafe, a French cooking demonstration by Dave's Specialty Foods, an antique bazaar, wines, and more.

Dance Theater holds auditions

The Rodriquez Dance Theater, in partnership with District 214's community education program, is seeking mature, technically trained male and female dancers to join its company. Dancers must also be at least 18 years old with experience in modern technique. Auditions will be held from noon to 1:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, at Elk Grove High School. Tuesdays. Also, community dance workshops are offered to people of all ages and dance ability. Auditions will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, at the high school. Call (847) 477-0883.
