Buffalo Grove Days: 11 a.m.-6:30 p.m. on the final day for Buffalo Grove's big Labor Day weekend festival at Buffalo Grove Municipal Campus, 50 Raupp Blvd. Food tent, beer garden, carnival, entertainment, arts & crafts. Dedication of time capsule at 2:30 p.m. in honor of Buffalo Grove's 50th anniversary.
Schaumburg Septemberfest: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. for final day of Schaumburg's 38th annual Labor Day weekend festival at the Schaumburg municipal campus, Schaumburg Road and Summit Drive. Parade at 10 a.m. Main stage: Mojo Hand, 5 p.m.; Green Light Go's, 5:30 p.m.; Lonnie Brooks Blues Band, 7:30 p.m. Fireworks, 9 p.m.
