GOP lending an ear to residents

I would like to thank the Illinois House Republicans for actually LISTENING to families in the Northwest Suburbs. Recently, I was able to speak with Anita Forte-Scott about our high property taxes and the hardships they are placing on our family. She listened to everything I had to say and even took notes!

I truly believe my concerns on property taxes were remembered when Forte-Scott, House Republican Leader Tom Cross, and members of his team put together their Agenda for Action.

Anita assured me property tax relief will be one of her top legislative issues when she takes office in January. Forte-Scott pledged to introduce measures to double the property tax rebate and increase the homestead exemption for all taxpayers within the first seven days in office.
