Triathlons: Adults ages 18 and older and youth ages 7 to 14 may sign up for the triathlons in Elk Grove Village to be held Aug. 16. Registration is being taken up to Aug. 8 at the Pavilion front desk, 1000 Wellington Ave., Elk Grove Village. All participants will receive a race day packet with amenities. Race packet pick up is from noon to 7 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Pavilion. The swim portion will be at the Pavilion outdoor pool.
